Liora Michelle has spent most of her young career performing as principal soprano with Melbourne City Opera in Australia, her second home. She received critical acclaim appearing with Opera Australia principals in the roles of Leonora in Il Trovatore, Mimì, Musetta, Micaela, Nedda and Zerlina. Liora's repertoire also comprises the following covered roles: Amelia (Un Ballo in Maschera), Tosca, and Donna Anna and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni).

Performances ranged from season engagements at Melbourne's historic Athenaeum, Comedy and St. Martin's Theatres to the Spray Farm Summer Festival in front of several thousand, to gala performances for international dignitaries.

Notable highlights of Liora's orchestral concert work include the EMI sponsored Tribute to Callas for which she performed scenes from Norma and Medea; the international Verdi Commemoration webcast concert "Va Pensiero Day" for which she sang excerpts from Aida and Nabucco, and the opening of the Bel Canto exhibit at the Victorian Arts Centre.

Concert work in other genres includes regular guest appearances for annual Carols by Candlelight open air concerts, regular summer concert series guest artist appearances, and Cole Porter and Rodgers and Hammerstein shows.

Competition honours include first and second placings in Australian aria eisteddfods and finalist in the National Bank Vocal Competition and the Armstead Vocal /Radio 3MBS Performer of the Year Competition.
