Ramon Alsina Artists Managment presents Andrea Broido

Soprano Andrea Broido is an accomplished artist recognized for her work in opera, oratorio and recital. She has been heralded by critics as bringing "true stellar quality to our region's trove of vocal treasures", "possessing a lyrical soprano luminous and strong throughout a wide range", a "voluptuous operatic heroine" with a "brilliant top range and a full, expressive lower range"..."proffering a creamy tone".

Her operatic roles include Violetta, Micaela, Mimi, Pamina, the Governess, Rosalinda, and Nedda among others, in performances with Virginia Opera, Opera Delaware, Opera Ensemble of New York, Hollybush Festival (NJ), Regina Opera (Brooklyn), and Berks Grand Opera (Reading, PA).

Andrea's love for sacred music has led to solo appearances with the Roanoke Symphony, the Terre Haute Symphony (Indiana), the Reading Symphony, the Concerto Soloists of Phila. and Vox Amadeus of Phila., as well as numerous appearances with the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra and PA Pro Musica. She was a finalist of both the American Opera Auditions in New York and the second Pavarotti Competition.

Her present performance schedule includes numerous recitals in church settings to promote the release of her new CD CLASSICAL PRAISE, a collection of her favorite sacred arias.

Having received her musical education at Hollins University in Roanoke, VA, Andrea is a sought-after voice teacher who maintains a full teaching studio in Philadelphia, where she resides.
